Electrical Review’s annual Supplier Guide is the industry’s essential handbook packed with products and service providers. This year’s publication includes a sizeable writeup about our award-winning Multi Power UPS.

A popular addition to many a data centre over the past few years, the Multi Power is a modular uninterruptible power supply that delivers exceptional energy efficiency at the same time as providing supreme power protection.

Available in a choice of 25 kW or 42 kW power modules, Multi Power UPS offers efficiency levels of up to 96%. Thanks to its innovative transformerless-based technology, it can even achieve 95% efficiency when running loads as low as 20%.

Power Plus Efficiency – Multi Power UPS In Action

The compact Multi Power UPS is capable of delivering up to 466 kW per m2. That means data centres have more free floor space to install valuable extra server racks.

In addition, the Supplier Guide feature highlights the scalability modular UPS offer. This gives operators the flexibility to add in modules as and when they grow.

Another advantage of the Multi Power UPS is that each module is hot-swappable, so preventive UPS maintenance can be undertaken without the system going offline.

As part of the item, Riello UPS’s victory at the DCS Awards 2018 was showcased. Upgrading a client’s server rooms to use Multi Power UPS ensured we won the “Data Centre Energy Efficiency Project of the Year” category.

The initiative led to a £335,000 cut in annual energy bills and a 72% saving in air conditioning. It saw annual carbon emissions cut from 2,147kg to just 603.5kg.

It’s performance like this that has seen the Multi Power UPS become a firm favourite.
