The new range builds on the features within the award-winning Riello UPS Dialog series of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and runs from 700VA to 800kVA. All Dialog CSS models comply with the European CSS standard, EB50171.
Traditional standby power systems only achieve around 90% operating efficiencies or less. Dialog CSS models rise to 98% resulting in lower operating costs and heat output. This dramatic increase in efficiency has been achieved using the Isolated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT) technology developed by Riello for their Uninterruptible Power Supply range.
Dialog CSS models also use full microprocessor technology to achieve reduced footprint and compact sizes when compared to traditional solutions. Further advantages include a wide range of communications options for remote monitoring and management. These include volt-free contact, RS232/485 serial and SNMP interfaces. Dialog CSS is a future proof investment with high reliability. This can be extended as each model above 8kVA can be paralleled together to expand system size or provide N+1 reliability. With a maximum power module size of 800kVA and the ability to parallel up to 6 modules for any single installation, Dialog CSS is capable of supporting the emergency lighting and standby power requirements for a major shopping complex, airport or stadium.
